Teresa Villalobos – Flute, Lynn University

TERESA VILLALOBOS first began studying flute at the age twelve while living in Kaiserslautern, Germany.  Upon returning to the US, she studied San Antonio, TX with Tallon Perkes of the San Antonio Symphony.  Teresa received her bachelor’s degree in flute performance from the Eastman School of Music as a student of Bonita Boyd.  She has participated in many music festivals, most recently with the Ohio Light Opera, Lake George Music Festival, and the Brevard Music Center. In the summer of 2014, Teresa received a grant from the German Academic Exchange Program (DAAD) to complete a summer course at the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, Germany.  An avid traveler, Teresa has visited over 15 countries to date. As a chamber musician, Teresa is a member of the Noble Trio with her husband Greg Perrin (viola), and Michael Noble (piano).  The Noble Trio had their debut performance in the summer of 2017 in Rancho Mirage, California to a sold out hall at the Coachella Valley Repertory Theater. The trio will return in June of 2018 to perform a series of concerts featuring a world premiere of Joe Giarusso’s Il Mystere. Currently, Teresa is pursuing her Masters degree in flute performance at the Lynn Conservatory of Music as a student of Jeffery Khaner of the Philadelphia Orchestra.  Upon completion of her graduate work, Teresa will be joining the Navy as a flutist in U.S. Navy Fleet Band.
