James Currence – French Horn, Lynn University

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, JAMES CURRENCE is a reputable horn player. He currently studies as a Master’s student with Gregory Miller. James recently completed his B.M. from Shenandoah University under Joseph Lovinsky, former principal of Pershing’s Own in Washington, D.C. During his time there, James performed as principal on their first international tour through Spain in 2014. Past teachers include Debra Sherill-Ward, former third horn of the Charleston Symphony, and Basil Kerr. In his off-time from the horn, he enjoys painting and working on his compositions.
