May 2016 Organist International Meeting

organWe are pleased announce that the next biennial meeting of Szeged Organist favorable reception, Faculty of Music, University of Szeged, Szeged and the Szeged Zsinagógáért Foundation will be held Tuesday May 17 and Wednesday 18 2016 (additional day of Thursday the May 19, if necessary)

We would cordially like to invite your institution’s lecturers and students of the organ to attend these meetings.

Kindly enable and promote the participation of both students and teachers interested in this constructive musical experience and meeting with friends as well as professional colleagues.

Dear Colleague,

Applications for:

  • A)   Music High School,
  •  B)   Musical higher education students
  •  C)   Young organist (teacher)
  • D)   Higher grades of the school system and other post-secondary institutions (teachers and teacher educators, theological colleges, church music majors) and primary art schools guidance for intended organ students arekategóriákban várunk.


The maximum time frame available:

  • A) and D) category, 25 minutes, Bach Trio Sonata (in case of fast movement can be expanded) playing 30 minutes,
  • B) 30-minute range,
  • C) Class 35 minutes.


We ask an age group relevant major Bach and a romantic work, the rest of the time show of your choice of work.  Secondary School (11 12 13), a Bach trio sonata rapid disclosure is mandatory.


Students in preparing teachers are looking forward to the evaluation committee.

The Organ performances will take place at the Szeged synagogue built in 1903, recently renovated and expanded with a 42 register organ. A diszpozíciót mellékeljük. The location is enclosed.


Arrival and exercise: 2016 May 16 (Monday).

In past experience, the secondary vocational school student’s appearance takes place on Tuesday on the first day of the event, on May 17.
